Ladyboy Bars in Pattaya (2026): Where They Are and What to Expect
Last checked: 30 September 2026. Bars in Pattaya open, close and change names often, so confirm on the night.
Short answer: Most of Pattaya's ladyboy bars are on and around Soi Buakhao, especially Action Street, with more on Soi LK Metro. Walking Street has fewer than it used to. For a show rather than a bar, go to one of the three big cabarets: Tiffany's, Alcazar or Colosseum. Expect to pay about ฿90–180 for a beer. Bars in Pattaya's entertainment zones can stay open until 4am.
Where the ladyboy bars are
Soi Buakhao and Action Street. A September 2026 guide says Soi Buakhao has "more ladyboy bars and go-go bars than anywhere else in the city". The same guide says of Action Street, the lane off Soi Buakhao, that every single bar there is a ladyboy bar.
Soi LK Metro. This soi has ladyboy go-go bars too, including Peachy Lily (below).
Walking Street. This is the famous strip, but ladyboy venues are thinner here now. Alice, a ladyboy bar near Lucifer, has closed. Walking Street is still worth a walk for the atmosphere. It's pedestrian-only from about 7pm to 3am (Pattaya Pointer, July 2026).
Soi 6. A June 2026 guide says not many Soi 6 bars have ladyboys these days.
Boyztown and Jomtien Complex. These are Pattaya's gay areas, and they have drag shows. Castro Bar in Boyztown runs drag cabaret at 11pm, and M2M in Jomtien Complex has a nightly show at 10:30pm (Travel Gay, Dec 2025).

Katoeys Are Us moved from Soi Diamond to Soi Buakhao in May 2025 (Dave the Rave). Guest Friendly Hotels calls it the biggest ladyboy bar in Pattaya.
We only list bars that a source from the last 12 months shows as open. Older lists name more bars, such as Sensations and Pattaya Obsessions, but we couldn't confirm them for 2026.

Opening hours and the 2026 alcohol rules
Bars in the entertainment zones can open until 4am. Walking Street, LK Metro and the east side of Third Road started a 4am closing trial on 15 December 2023 (The Pattaya News). Outside the zones, expect closing time between midnight and 2am.
The afternoon alcohol ban is gone. Thailand banned sales from 2pm to 5pm for decades. That rule was lifted on trial in December 2025 (The Drinks Business) and made permanent in late May 2026. Shops can now sell from 11am to midnight, and licensed entertainment venues keep their own hours (The Drinks Business, June 2026).

A lady drink is a drink you buy for a staff member so she can sit and talk with you. Before you order, ask how much it costs.
Etiquette and staying safe
No photos inside. Most go-go bars ban photos and video (Dave the Rave). Don't film staff or other customers.
Check your bill as you go. Ask prices first, order one drink at a time, and repeat the amount back (Bars Pattaya).
Watch your drink. The UK government warns that drink spiking happens in Thai tourist areas: "Do not leave your drinks unattended or accept drinks from strangers". Australia also warns about methanol in cheap spirits and recommends sealed, branded drinks (Smartraveller).
Keep your phone off the bar counter.
